RushOS x86 is a single user, single task demo OS that also includes a collection of programs. Everything is written in assembly language.

Used assembler : TASM 5.3 For compatibility it uses 16 bit x86.

Minimum requirements : 386 CPU or newer.

Rush OS can be run in a virtual environment like VMware, Qemu or VPC, but it is not recomended for some anomalies tend to apear.

Minimum System requirements : CPU : i386 with only one exception : the 4th cpu test uses i586 MMX instructions

MEM : althought Rush OS can access up to 4 GB of mem,it can run on a computer with only 1MB of RAM

HDD : No need of HDD for running Rush OS

FDD, CDROM or DVDROM to boot the Rush OS image
